Ride Right Clinic in Action

When you think of physiotherapy, you might imagine someone recovering from a sports injury or rehabbing after surgery. But did you know it can be a game-changer for equestrians and their horses too?

At B Diamond Physio, we're passionate about helping riders and horses move better, feel stronger, and perform at their best. Whether you're gearing up for competition, working on your balance in the saddle, or just want to enjoy pain-free rides, we're here to help you and your horse shine.

Why Should Riders Consider Physiotherapy?

Riding is more than just sitting on a horse - it requires balance, coordination, strength, and subtle body control. Even the smallest imbalance can affect your horse's movement. If you're feeling off-centre, struggling to pick up the correct diagonal, or dealing with nagging pain, it's not just about you - it's about your horse too.

That's where equestrian physiotherapy comes in. By treating both rider biomechanics and horse movement patterns, we create harmony between you and your horse.

What Sets B Diamond Physio Apart?

We're not just any physiotherapists - we specialize in equestrian physiotherapy. We understand that in this sport, the athlete is a team of two: you and your horse. Our approach combines:

  • Specialized knowledge in equestrian physiotherapy

  • Equine physio expertise

  • Ride Right Clinics - our unique group sessions that blend rider assessment, in-saddle corrections, and take-home programs

A Simple yet Powerful Exercise to Try

Here's a breathing exercise to improve your posture, reduce stress, and enhance your ride:

  1. Sit or stand tall and imagine a string lifting the crown of your head.

  2. Place one hand on your upper chest and one on your abdomen.

  3. Inhale slowly through your nose, letting your abdomen rise.

  4. Exhale through pursed lips, feeling your abdomen lower.

  5. Repeat for 15 slow breaths.

Try this exercise several times a day, especially when you're feeling stressed or in pain. It's a great way to soften your body and help your horse move more freely under saddle.
