ABOUT
"As a client of Keira’s since 2018, she has literally changed the game for me when it comes to riding and functioning daily as an equine professional. Understanding how we as riders operate and what we need to be successful. She has fixed many issues through the years and helped me become both pain free and a better rider!"

I got my horse back!
After my horse’s surgery, I was told the chances of him returning to full work were slim. Thanks to Keira’s incredible knowledge of equine rehab, not only is he back under saddle, but he’s moving better than ever! I’m so thankful to have met her—her expertise made all the difference in his recovery.

The WHY.

I grew up in a small town and I BEGGED my parents for a horse of my own, despite coming from a family that didn't have a background in horses. My persistence paid off when I started riding lessons at the age of 6, and by the age of 10, I got my first horse. From that moment on, horses became an integral part of my life.
I never looked back...
I've always been deeply involved in sports, playing soccer, volleyball, cross-country skiing, figure skating, and hockey. These experiences taught me valuable skills like teamwork and perseverance. I also coached swim lessons, worked as a lifeguard, and participated in 4H.
Movement and competition were a big part of my life.
After completing my first degree in Psychology, I traveled for nearly 5 years, learning valuable life lessons and gaining a broader perspective.
Upon returning home, I pursued a second degree in Education, which deepened my understanding of the learning process and equipped me with effective communication skills. This foundation ultimately led me to pursue a Master's in Physical Therapy, a career path I never imagined I'd take.
On the First Day
of Physio school, a fellow student shared she wanted to work with horses, and everyone laughed. I found her after class and said, "TELL ME EVERYTHING!" That moment was the turning point and it changed my LIFE! It sparked a passion within me, and I knew I had found my niche.
We created Equus Physio, a successful clinic in Cochrane, AB, where we worked tirelessly to provide top-notch care to horses and riders. We ran it for seven incredible years, building a reputation and making a real difference in our community. However, as time went on, we realized we had grown too fast, and drifted away from our true passion – horse and rider physio.
So...
I took a step back, I reconnected with my WHY: a love of the horse, a love of movement, and a deep desire to support everyday riders through physio, pelvic floor care, and riding biomechanics. I refocused on what truly mattered to me, and I'm excited to say that I've found a renewed sense of purpose.
Now with B Diamond Physio, I'm proud to be offering care that is grounded in my experience, my passion, and my purpose. I'm committed to helping horse and rider pairs achieve their goals, prevent injuries, and enjoy a lifelong love for the sport.
'I'm here for the people who love their horse, love their sport, and want to keep doing it for a long long time."
